Video Project Idea
I have been given an assignment to visually represent the notion of a database via moving image. It being January Prayer Month at my church, I thought about the hundreds of prayer requests that pass over the altar during the successive weeks. I have the idea of taking all of the prayer requests at the end of this month and making a curtain/matrix to convey the idea of a database. Each request represents the hopes and aspirations of an individual as they cry out to God. This raw emotion fueled by faith is the energy perhaps that I will attempt to portray through a written monologue, the matrix being the backdrop of the video.
